The call for models that will showcase various designers’ outfits at this year’s Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards (ASFAs) is on.
The Ciroc sponsored Awards are giving anyone an opportunity whose dream has always been to walk the catwalk on a major continental fashion show to come out.
“Males should be 6ft or taller and the minimum height for girls is 5.9ft,” Joram Muziira, the head of Joram Model Management who will head the casting, says.
Joram Model Management is the agency that scouted world renowned supermodels Aamito Stacie Lagum and Patricia Akello is behind the casting that is on this Sunday, November 12, at Garden City.
He goes on to advise that the dress code will be simple black pants/skinny jeans, black vests, and all girls should carry simple black heels.
Brian Ahumuza, Ciroc Brand Ambassador and founder of the ASFAs says, “The models will have a chance to showcase designs from some of Africa’s top designers and Uganda’s finest.”
More glitz and glamour is expected at this year’s awards that bring together the continent’s fashionistas and style trailblazers.
The Asfas are slated for Friday December 8, at the Kampala Serena Hotel under the theme ‘Fashion Takeover’.
