PHOTOS: Jazz Lovers Groove, Gulp Johnnie Walker at Jazz Safari

Jazz enthusiasts and lovers filled up Lugogo Cricket Oval on Sunday evening for the 10th edition of the Johnnie Walker Jazz Safari concert.

The main performers at the gig were American star saxophonist Marcus Anderson and Kizomba star Yola Semedo, who entertained an enthusiastic crowd that was sipping Johnnie Walker’s whiskey and other cocktails all night long.

Jazz lovers from Kampala and beyond flocked the concert in hordes to enjoy the music and whiskey, while others just wanted to feel the jazz experience and were not disappointed.

Since it is very hard to remain seated when jazz music is playing, several couples abandoned their seats and grooved the night away.

Plus, Anderson and Semedo never disappointed in their performances when it came to entertaining revellers.

When time for the intimate Kizomba dance came, couples were spotted interacting even more freely as they danced to the soul music.

As expected, no slay queens represented.

The concert was instead flooded by classy corporate figures from all walks of life.

They included several loaded Ugandans,  diplomats and elites enjoyed themselves the entire night while quenching their thirst with Johnnie Walker whiskey.

Below are the photos of some of the revellers;
