Club Guvnor Electronic Technician has today (August 9) appeared before High Court to give his technical account on the ongoing case in which businessman Ivan Kamyuka is accused of murder.
Sentongo Paul, 53, resident of Nakulabye informed Court that he learnt about the reported murder through a radio call.
“The incident happened in 40 plus section and on receiving the information,” he explained.
“I rushed to the I.T section and rewound the footage on the CCTV cameras and I saw how the whole fight started”
Sentongo says that from the footage he saw a gentle man and a lady moving towards the DJ’s box as the other continued to the toilet.
He further narrated that he saw one man in white (Johnnie Ahimbisibwe) and another in red (Ivan Kamyuka).
In his account, the Ivan punched Johnnie leaving him unconscious.
Sentongo also told court that on the following morning, he handed over the CCTV footage to a police officer identified as Peter Opiyo.
During cross examination however, it was established that some clips were missing from the footage.
When asked by the defense Counsel Ivan Mugabi on what could have caused this, Sentongo told court that, “I handed over all the footage to Police as retrieved from the hard drive.”
The senior Principle State Attorney Jane Okuo Kajuga asked court for an adjournment to enable them secure their last witness.
Further hearing of the matter has been adjourned to August 23, 2017.
In the case, Businessman Ivan Kamyuka is accused of murdering Johnny Ahimbisibwe on August 2,2015 at Club Guvnor in Kampala.
